We spoke to our personal trainer focus Stanley Emodi aka TSK and found that looking good and feeling good isn't just about building muscles, you've got to remember to take care of your skin and general appearance. Skin care and personal hygiene make a huge difference when you are trying to make an impression, even at the gym.
Here are TSK's 7 recommended grooming tips for men:
(UV) rays from the sun can cause damage to your skin and can contribute to the
development of skin cancer. Over exposure to sun rays also cause accelerated
aging of the skin and sunburn. The Skin Cancer Foundation implies that, even black
people who generally have a rich amount of melanin in their skin, require sunscreen

your skin and keeping your body hydrated is a great way to prevent and treat
dry skin. It refines one’s skin tone and gives the body a glow that enhances
your look. It can get quite hot in Nigeria’s hugely tropical climate and with
heavy moisturizing creams, you’re prone to sweating a lot more. It’s important
to be aware of your skin type and get a cream that will work best for you. Remember, the type of cream you use for

you are not part of the ‘beard gang’, there’s no need to force it - your face
needs all the air it can get. Apart from giving you a clean and smart look - a

remove dead skin cells, improve circulation and stimulate blood flow. A
pedicure follows the same concept but it is for your feet. It’s relaxing and
you would feel so much better afterwards.

a good fragrance.
Sweating is normal, and when you do it’s also
normal to develop a little ‘eau de you’. A good scent resonates well in the
memory of any person you come across so it’s worth it to consider getting a
little helper to boost your scent. Don’t walk around with a bad smell that
people will remember, anti-perspirant is your friend.
